Audience
Galaxy attracts over 3.9 million listeners every week. Galaxy’s core audience is the 20-something adult who chooses to live life to the full, but never at the expense of their careers or mortgage payments. Important things in the life of a Galaxy listener are music, fashion, living life and getting on. The Galaxy listener recognises hard work equals achievement.
Environment
So what does Galaxy sound like? Galaxy consistently delivers the best and latest mainstream music and entertainment. The breakfast show presenters are down-to-earth and relatable. Throughout the rest of the day music is the most important thing to Galaxy listeners.
Galaxy is local at the times it’s most relevant to connect with its audience (Breakfast and Drive). It’s then national at other times to continue to deliver high quality output and brand consistency. This creates a clear and consistent brand proposition for advertisers.
