Created by the merging of the Capital Gold and Classic Gold radio networks in 2007, Gold distinguishes itself from the competition by playing the greatest hits of all time with particular dedication to the most influential music decades: the 60s, 70s and 80s.

The music Gold plays is as relevant today as it has ever been, forever part of our social commentary; it continues to influence new bands on the scene today. Keeping listeners hunger alive for music knowledge they are taken back to the roots of music through exclusive interviews with iconic artists and the knowledge of our presenters including David Jensen, Simon Bates, Paul Coyte, James Cannon and Erika North.
