Lawson

Lawson have made a huge impact since hitting the top five with their debut single ‘When She Was Mine’ last May, following it up with two more chart smashes – top three UK single ‘Taking Over Me,’ and radio smash ‘Standing In The Dark’ which is the bands biggest selling UK single to date, firmly establishing themselves as one of the brightest new pop bands to launch in recent years.

With all the songs penned by the band themselves, drawing on real life relationships, experience and challenges, their debut album, ‘Chapman Square,’ (produced by Grammy winner John Shanks,) also hit the top five on release in November 2012 and the band have been steadily building up a large and dedicated following.

A formidable live presence, frontman Andy Brown, guitarist Joel Peat, drummer Adam Pitts and bass player Ryan Fletcher have gone from playing to three people in pub backrooms, to selling out four headline tours and opening for artists such as Jessie J, Will Young and Avril Lavigne. They packed out their stage at V Festival, made appearances at the Summertime and Jingle Bell Ball, and will take their set worldwide in 2013 with shows in North America and South East Asia upcoming.

Current single Learn To Love Again is the fourth single to be taken from Chapman Square.

The Wanted

The Wanted came out of the blocks in 2010 with their Number 1 smash UK Single ‘All Time Low’ which defined a new pop sound that’s grown to hit status all around the world. Their self titled top 5 debut album has since gone double platinum in the UK alone and the boys have gone on to international success, with hit single after hit single.

In February 2011, the boys released ‘Gold Forever’ as the official Comic relief single, racking up another hit for the group, debuting at No 3.

Their second album followed in November 2011 and once again went Top 5, establishing the band as one of the most successful pop acts in the UK today.

With huge sold out arena tours and an army of fans, the time was right to reach out to the US. And they did it in style.

The Wanted’s worldwide smash ‘Glad You Came’ became their debut US single in 2012, selling over 3 million copies and reaching number 1 on the US airplay chart, top 3 on the Billboard Hot 100 and number 1 on the American Top 40 chart - the first vocal group to take the year end No. 1 spot since Boyz ll Men in 1992.

Now, in 2013, The Wanted are counted amongst the biggest pop acts in the world; scooping awards like the ‘Favourite Breakout Act’ at the People’s Choice Awards in LA and even bagging their very own TV show...The Wanted Life!

The band are currently filming in the US for the show which is all about, as Scooter Braun - the man behind Justin Beiber puts it, the 'craziness and the making of the new album, from LA to the UK'. The Wanted Life debuts on the E! Network in the US on 2nd June, closely followed by it's UK premiere on 24th June at 9pm and we cannot wait to see the mischief they get up to – get a sneak peak here.

Most recently, the guys have partnered with the legend that is Dr Luke on their latest single, Walks Like Rihanna, which is officially released in the UK on 23rd June and is a pure pop summer anthem. The video was shot in LA and takes a tongue in cheek look at what being in a boy band is all about, in the undeniable style of The Wanted!
And if all that wasn't enough, the forthcoming album, which will be released globally in September this year, is being worked on right now.
